Tomorrows Bad Seeds brought their high-energy mix of Reggae, Rock, Punk, Soul and Hip Hop to the Velour lounge in Provo Utah February 4, 2010 warming up the stage for Trevor Hall. As the temperatures outside hovered in the 30’s, inside the temperature in this packed venue must have been in the 90’s and up on the elevated stage the temperature was even higher causing the sweat to pour from this incredibly talented and highly physical young band. Trying to get a picture of these high speed musicians was no easy trick. For a complete set of photos from this show see: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gonzoshots/sets/72157623333129405/
While mainstream music continues to become more commercialized and less visionary, many musicians aim to create music containing the substance that radio airwaves seem to lack. It is with this goal that L.A’S Tomorrows Bad Seeds has emerged onto the scene and is quickly gaining momentum as one of the hottest rising bands in Southern California. With a high-energy mix of Reggae, Rock, Punk, Soul and Hip Hop they create a refreshing and vibrant sound that can captivate any crowd.
Since getting together in ’04 they have been killing the West Coast playing such venues as: HOB Hollywood, Vault 350, The Catalyst, San Felipe (SWAT High School grad trip), Key Club, Galaxy Theatre, Downtown Brewing Co., Ventura Theatre, and many others. Along the way they have shared the stage with artists such as: Slightly Stoopid, Half Pint, The Expendables, Hed(pe), Eek-A-Mouse, Common Sense, Dubcat, Salvador Santana, Fishbone, Iration, and many more.
Tomorrows Bad Seeds music is driven by its rumbling rhythm section, punching guitar riffs, Harmonic vocals and lyrics charged by day-to-day experiences, Love, and Politics. The Bad Seeds often collaborate with other artists such as Philieano & Toko T (Skunk records), I-MAN (Capitol Eye), 2mex of sun god sons, Ero and Awdbawl (Second Thought), and many more to come!
Tomorrows bad seeds released their debut album “Early Prayers” in June, 2007 on UrbanTone Records featuring the singles Rhyme & Reason, Vices, Warrior Poet and Love Street. The bands first single “Love Street” reached #3 on Hawaii Radio stations throughout all the Islands. The band’s live performances are electrifying and create a wave of excitement on stage.
