State Radio

This is one of my music hero’s, Chad Stokes formerly of the incredible Indie band Dispatch who have the distinction of holding the largest Indie concert off all time in Boston, 110,000 people from 22 countries showed up, blowing the bands minds, they had estimated maybe 20-25,00 persons would show vs, 110,00! See their fantastic documentary The Last Dispatch. Chad’s new band State Radio is stunning in its pure power and authentic passion that oozes from every poor of this amazing man. Chad was votes the musical humanitarian of the year in 2008. AT the end of this show in Salt Lake City he said to the adoring crwod “I know these are hard times so if anyone wants one of CD’s just pay what you can and take one”, this is the kind of people we should be setting up as examples for the youth of today and not the ones amassing wealth, driving fancy cars and living in mansions. HOw could you not love this man, he is a Indie rock legend and comes on stage with atattered jeans, two different color socks and a heart of gold..
