About Groovemine
Groovemine.com is a portal site dedicated to independent, eclectic, and hard-to-find music. More for the music junkie, less for the fan, groovemine.com is a constantly evolving resource guide connecting you to music not fully supported by major record labels or large national retailers. We point you to the best places to shop for music (online and on-foot), download mp3s for free, great venues to catch live performances, and more. We, also, include editorial and social publishing content to highlight specific independent music providers we think you should pay closer attention to. Groovemine.com has just launched, so bear with us while we get up to speed.
About the Founder

Groovemine.com was conceived in February 2009 and launched in May 2009 by Mark Gentile. It was years earlier, though, that music collecting and DJing blossomed from hobby to business when Mark began programming music for hospitality, fashion, and retail companies in the form of his company, YMUSIC. He also worked as Creative Director for a print and online publisher, where he helped develop vital resources for the niche markets they served. This expanded his understanding of community while refining his media production skills. Simply put, groovemine.com is about music and community…and it’s, clearly, a product of Mark’s experience. He believes the recent evolution of the music industry and related Internet technologies provide great opportunities for both consumers and providers of independent music.

Side note, I was wandering around aimlessly on the web and ran into some old advertising, 5 cents for Life Savors?

One cup? She doesn’t get any I guess.. oh yeah she serves him and only him, just look at the look on his face. Maybe later after the dinner is cooked and the dishes washed and the kitchens clean he’ll let her have a taste!
